First let me remove the cobwebs and crickets from here, then we can chat. The reason for this post is that we have neglected our poor blog. Adam works and writes and I well, I'm kept busy with family illness, walking our two fur babies and other crazy stuff. I'm also trying to finish my own New Adult Novel before going back to finish Wicked Darlings, our 3rd book in The Chide Series. Also there is Facebook and Twitter and trying to keep up with everything happening in the Author World, so I really think I need an assistant or maybe get more organized. Yes, that's it organization is the key. So I have end our little chat but we haven't forgotten you, our poor little blog and I promise to make an effort to visit more often. Ugh, just walked through a cobweb that I missed!!! Yuck, better housekeeping needs to be on my list too!!!!! LOVE YOU BLOG!!!!!

Release Day Blitz: Call Me Crazy by author Quinn Loftis
Hello, Blogosphere!
Do we have a treat for you on the blog today :D Author Quinn Loftis has written yet another AMAZING sounding novel, and honestly we can't wait to read it! We not only have the cover, the synopsis, and the book trailer, but we also have an EXCERPT from the novel to share with you all! This book is out today, so make sure you grab yourself a copy of what should be another AWESOME hit from Quinn ;)
Synopsis
“I’m looking out from inside the chaos. It must be a one-way
mirror because no one seems to be able to see back inside to where I am. The
looks on their faces, the judgment in their eyes, tells me everything I need to
know. The most frustrating part about the whole messed up situation is that
even though I’m the one that they stare at in shock, I am just as shocked as
they are. I know no more than they do of why I lose control. What they don’t
know is that I am more scared of myself than they could ever be.” ~ Tally Baker
After a devastating turn of events, seventeen year old Tally
Baker is admitted to Mercy Psychiatric Facility where she is diagnosed with
Bipolar Disorder. She has come to a place where she honestly believes that her
life is over. Her mind tells her that she will never smile or laugh again, that
she will never be normal again. It is in this unlikely place that she meets two
people, different in every way, yet both critical to helping her realize that
she has so much more living to do.
Candy, a cantankerous sixty year old Mercy Psychiatric
patient, is hell bent on driving everyone as crazy as she is. Candy shows Tally
that, regardless of her diagnosis, the ability to push on and live her life to
the fullest is her choice and hers alone. In the midst of Tally’s oftentimes
humorous, sometimes heart-wrenching, escapades with Candy, a new patient is
admitted to Mercy—a Native American woman named Lolotea. Along with this new
patient comes a daily visitor, her son, Trey Swift. At first glance, it is
obvious to Tally that he is incredibly handsome and unbelievably caring. But
what she learns through her second glance, and many thereafter, is that there
is much more to Trey than he ever lets on. It is during these daily visits that
Trey and Tally build a friendship far deeper than either of them truly realize.
With Trey, Tally feels for the first time since being admitted that someone is
looking at her as a person and not as a disease. Trey begins to make it clear
that he wants more than friendship, but she knows that she can never give him
more. How can she, when she won’t even give him the truth? Tally doesn’t tell Trey that she is a patient
at Mercy, and she doesn’t ever plan to. Her plans go up in flames when she
finds out that Trey is a new student at her school, the school where her
brokenness was found out in the floor of the girl’s bathroom in a pool of her
own blood.
Call Me Crazy Trailer
Excerpt
“Crap Candy,” I growl at my snickering companion as I rub my
side and glare at her. “What was that for?”
“A better question would be why were you hunkered down under
the table drooling over Kemosabe?”
I frown at her. “That’s tacky don’t you think?”
“I’m sixty years old and crazy; I can do tacky if I want,”
she snorts at me.
I can’t really argue with her there. Like pregnant women,
old, crazy ladies pretty much get a free pass on crassness and eccentricity.
“So come on,” she pats the chair that I had so quickly
vacated, “tell Candy all about it.”
I roll my eyes. “He just took me off guard, that’s all,” I
lie smoothly.
Candy isn’t buying it. “He was hot, just admit it. Hot and he
got you bothered.”
I cringe. “Candy, you calling a guy young enough to be your
grandson hot is just not right.”
“Psht,” she flips her hand at me. “I’m old, not blind or
dead. Besides, I didn’t say I wanted to jump his exotic bones.”
I groan as I bang my head against the table. “Where do you
learn these terms? I mean it’s not normal for someone your age to blurt out
crap like that.”
“Did you just use the term normal in a sentence describing
me?” She raises her brow surprisingly at me.
I laugh. “Good point.”
Author Bio
Quinn lives in beautiful NW Arkansas with her husband, son,
Doberman and cat (who thinks she is a ninja in disguise). She is beyond
thankful that she has been blessed to be able to write full time and hopes the readers
know how much all of their support means to her. Some of her hobbies include
reading, exercising, crochet, and spending time with family and friends.
She gives all credit of her success to God because he gave her the creative
spirit and vivid imagination it takes to write.

Jillian Dodd Day!
Jillian Dodd
An Exceptional Person and Author
How do you say thank you to a person and author that you've never met, have only chatted with on Facebook and Twitter, and already own all of their books? Write up a blog post about them of course :D
Today is BIG day on the blog and we have a special mission in mind...to PIMP the ever-so-amazing woman, Jillian Dodd and her wonderful novels!
Today is BIG day on the blog and we have a special mission in mind...to PIMP the ever-so-amazing woman, Jillian Dodd and her wonderful novels!
Jillian has no idea
that us and 98 other authors are going to blog about her today, or that book bloggers have
jumped on board too to help us thank her for what she's done for us.
Jillian Dodd is a best selling author of some really awesome young adult fiction. Her writing is pure escapist entertainment, which has found
thousands of fans…but more about that it a minute. In the short time we've "known" Jillian, we've seen her offer incredible support for other authors, reach out and help bring traffic to wonderful book blogs, and always be extremely kind and generous to her readers.
So why exactly are we telling you all this?
On the 21st of December, 99
authors were part of a promotional activity to sell 99 e-books for 99 cents.
Jillian had come up with a marketing plan while chatting to other writers about
the best way to bring their books to the attention of the reading public. So
when we were invited to participate in this AWESOME opportunity, we immediately jumped at the chance.
Like a General, Jillian assembled the troops while
issuing clear step-by-step instructions on what we had to do, how and when we
had to do it and we all responded in a good and timely manner. We never felt overwhelmed with all the information being thrown around and we're pretty sure that we have Jillian to thank for that!
By the end of December 21st, ten of us were in the top 100 in the Kindle store. By this time Amazon had come aboard to assist in the 24hr price drop and helped us with the Kindle Daily Deal and the majority of us found our rankings soar. Many of us sold hundreds of books. Many were in the top five of their specific category genres. Readers were ecstatic, authors were excited and Jillian stayed up with virtually no sleep for forty-eight hours to make sure the whole thing went smoothly.
And let us tell you, it was a thing of
beauty!
But back to her books!
Did you guys ever watch Gossip Girl? Or
Beverly Hills 90210 in the early days? Well, if you enjoyed those, you’re going
to love the steamy Keatyn Chronicles. Readers have gone wild for Keatyn and her
complicated life, never mind her even more complex love life.
Book one is Stalk Me and it has garnered
over 138 five star reviews.
Here’s the blurb:
Gossip
Girl meets Hollywood in this steamy new series by That Boy author,
Jillian Dodd.
Keatyn has everything she ever dreamed. Her life is following the script she wrote for the perfect high school experience. She's popular, goes to the best parties, dates the hottest guy, and sits at the most-coveted lunch table.
She's just not sure she wants it anymore.
Because, really, things aren't all that perfect.
Her best friend is threatening to tell everyone her perfect relationship is a scam.
Her perfect boyfriend gets drunk at every party they go to.
It's exhausting always trying to look and act perfect.
And, deep down, she isn't sure if she has any true friends.
To add to the drama, her movie star mom has a creepy stalker.
A hot, older man flirts with her and tells her they should make a movie together.
And she's crushing on an adorable surfer. Dating him would mean committing social suicide.
So she writes a new script. One where all the pieces of her life will come together in perfect harmony.
But little does she know, there's someone who will do anything to make sure that doesn't happen.
Book two of The Keatyn Chronicles is Kiss
Me. Since it’s release on the 26th of November, it has 157 five star
reviews.
Here’s the blurb:
I’ve always written scripts for my perfect life.
But no way could I have ever scripted this.
My life is so far from perfect, it’s not even funny.
All because of a stalker.
I’m at a boarding school, where I have to lie about who I am.
I can’t see my family.
I’m tutoring a hottie god that tortures me with his smile.
The most popular girl already hates me.
But there’s this boy.
This hot, sweet, sexy boy.
So I’m going to stop trying to script my life and just live it.
Because who knows how long I have left.

This hot, sweet, sexy boy.

Because who knows how long I have left.
Jillian's books might be categorised under
young adult, but we can highly recommend them for anyone who loves to be
entertained by a truly memorable character and adores very well-written escapist entertainment.

Book Release Party: The Modified
HAPPY RELEASE DAY!!!
Hi everyone!
We're so excited on the blog today because our third book (the first in a new YA Dystopian trilogy), The Modified, is now available *throws confetti* :D We can't wait to see what everyone thinks of it!
Now, we've worked with the ever-so-amazing Rachel Marks from YA Novel Reader (Follow this link to find the list of blogs participating in the Release Day Blitz) to put together not only a Review Day Blitz for The Modified, but also a Release Day Blitz as well. Below you will find the links to our Review Day Blitz :)
Review Day Blitz:
Book Synopsis:
What
would you sacrifice to save the one’s you love? To save the one who holds your
heart? To save the world?
Kenley
Grayson is all too familiar with these questions.
After Earth is thrust
into its first intergalactic war with an unknown race called the Bringers, our
military forces begin to suffer heavy losses. Desperate for a solution, the
Allied Federation issues a worldwide draft for every able seventeen year old to
enlist. As Kenley turns seventeen, she finds herself thrown into the very war
that took her older brother’s life.
This year’s draft is a
little different than in the past though. A new program, known as the Magnus
Project, has been introduced, and only the best and brightest qualify. Kenley
is amongst a select few whom are chosen to join this elite group of soldiers,
and as a part of this project, undergoes a modification procedure that leaves
her and her peers endowed with powers beyond their wildest dreams.
As Earth continues in
its struggle against the Bringers, Kenley is transported to a high-tech
training facility, the Magnus Academy, to prepare for the major battle that
lies ahead. It’s here that she meets the California heartthrob, and son of a
legendary war hero, Landon Shaw. As unexpected feelings toward Landon begin to
develop, Kenley wonders if this is the right time or place for romance to
bloom, especially when those feelings start to interfere with her training.
With the weight of the world on her shoulders,
Kenley is constantly reminded of how important she and the rest of the Magnus
cadets are to the fate of humanity. She is one of the Modified, Earth’s last
line of defense against utter destruction.

well, but will still be considered Young Adult.
